Privilege Services, a leading luxury household staffing and recruitment agency in Luxembourg, is recruiting an experienced and trustworthy Live-In Housekeeper & Dog Sitter (M/F/D) on behalf of one of its private clients.
Our client, an international couple residing in a private villa in Luxembourg, is seeking a dedicated, caring and reliable individual with a genuine love for animals, who is looking for a long-term position in a welcoming and respectful household.
This is a live-in position, with private accommodation provided within the villa.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness and overall maintenance throughout the villa.
- Provide daily care, attention and companionship to the family’s three German Shepherds.
- Maintain a reassuring and responsible presence at the property during the owners’ absences.
- Look after the dogs and ensure the villa remains safe, secure and well-maintained whenever the family is travelling.
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the household with autonomy, discretion and attention to detail.
Your Profile
- You ideally have 2 to 5 years of experience in private household management, housekeeping or a similar position.
- You are a genuine animal lover, confident and comfortable caring for large dogs.
- You are honest, loyal, reliable and trustworthy, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- You are meticulous, well-organised and capable of working independently.
- You demonstrate excellent manners, discretion and respect for your employers’ privacy.
- You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French, Danish or Tagalog would be an advantage.
- You are a non-smoker.
- You enjoy working in a private household environment and are seeking a stable, long-term commitment.
- You are legally entitled to work in Luxembourg or eligible to obtain the necessary work authorisation.
Above all, we are looking for someone who will care for the family’s dogs and home with the same dedication, affection and attention as if they were their own.
Working Conditions
- Location: Luxembourg
- Contract: Permanent employment contract – Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Starting date: February 2027
- Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Days off: Generally Saturday and Sunday
- Specific requirement: The successful candidate must be willing to remain at the property during the owners’ travels, including certain weekends, according to an agreed schedule and in compliance with applicable employment regulations.
- Salary: From €2,600 net per month, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
